Alessandro Frau

Fresh from his diploma in Tourism Management Alessandro decided to leave his Sardinia island to study English in London on 1999, while studying the language, he started to works as apprentice Chef in various top kitchens, including Italian Restaurant at the famous Grosvenor House Hotel of London.

Acquiring more experiences in his native Sardinia Alessandro then worked in Mexico, Sweden/Finland, Paris and than in 2004 arrived in Thailand, where he was appointed Executive Chef at the Sheraton Grande Laguna in Phuket. After 4 years, Alessandro was missing the real activity in the kitchen, so he decided was time to create his own restaurant, putting together all his experiences from around the world and create what was his own vision of the perfect place to develop his conceptual idea and philosophy: Acqua Restaurant was born.

Today Acqua Restaurant is one of the most awarded Restaurants in Phuket and Thailand, Chef Alessandro in 2015 was appointed as one of  "Best 20 Chefs in Asia" from Now Travel Asia Magazine. 

As the co-owner of La Casa Nostra, Chef Alessandro Frau creates enticing menu featuring authentic Italian dishes and ensures everyone a memorable dining experience.


 

Nino Scognamillo

Hailing from from the timeless city of Palermo in Sicily, Chef Nino Scognamillo realized his vocation from an early age. After completing culinary school he embarked on an international career bringing him to London, where he cut his teeth with the Jamie Oliver Group; Sydney, cooking for the city's iconic and eponymous Yacht Squadron, and finally,Thailand, initially in Phuket and now overseeing culinary operations at La Casa Nostra in Bangkok.

Chin Cecchini

Born in Phuket and raised on the Island of Elba in Tuscany Italy, Restaurant Floor Manager Chin came back to Thailand with the interest of pursuing a university degree. During his studies at Stamford International University in Bangkok, Chin discovered his passion for hospitality. He gained great experience by working with his dad on Luxury Mega-Yachts in Phuket. Now, Chin is managing the service and public relations at La Casa Nostra Bangkok.
